We Live-N-Learn

We were delighted to welcome Jen Kemp from Live-N-Learn back to Wallace Hall Academy this year again to work with groups of S4 pupils. Live-N-Learn works in over 1000 schools and Jen travels all over the country delivering face-to-face and online inspirational workshops for young people, teachers and parents.

In the sessions Jen focused on raising attainment, improving time management, effective study behaviour, attitude towards challenge and increasing confidence. Jen said: “I really love coming back to Wallace Hall Academy: the pupils and staff are very warm and friendly. I live locally in Thornhill and it is great to be able to give something back to our community. This year it has been particularly valuable and I have been able to show pupils how to achieve marginal gains for improvement during our current uncertainty.”
