Thursday 5th March was World Book Day. This year the Primary Pupil Council wanted to make it all about the books and reading.
They held a book swap where all pupils from primary 1 to primary 7 went home with a book and all remaining books were sold. This was a lovely way to share the books that we love with others.
In the afternoon parents/carers were invited into school for a reading cafe, Mrs McDiarmid along with some willing staff helpers and primary 7 sold hot chocolate to everyone to enjoy whilst reading their books.
The day was a huge success and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
