Children In Need 2019 at WHP

On Thursday 14th November our pupils and staff enjoyed raising funds for the annual Children In Need Appeal.

The House Captains organised a book and toy bring and buy sale, with items from 50p-£1.50 which was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who donated all their pre-loved books and toys. They have all found new homes and other children to enjoy them.

Two parent helpers along with some P7 pupils painted faces all day and their talent was much appreciated by all the pupils.

We really are very fortunate to have such supportive families, pupils and staff. Mrs McDiarmid, Depute Head Teacher said 'I am so proud of all of our students for their generosity and enthusiasm, especially the House Captian's and the Pupil Council members.'

We exceeded our expectations this year and raised a phenomenal amount of over £520! Well done.
