P6 pupils visit Rockcliffe

The weather was very kind to P6 on their recent coastal trip to Rockcliffe with the Nithsdale Fisheries Trust. An excellent day was had by all. Not only did the class learn about the coastal ecosystem: with a beach scavenger hunt and rockpool investigations, but they also learned how to paddle safely and how to extricate themselves from the very gloopy muddy sand!

A huge thank you goes out from P6 to Debbie, Jim and Davey for all their help this year.
