Thursday take-away treats

Pupils in the Hospitality elective group have established an excellent initiative in school this term where they have provided homemade, take-away lunches at very reasonable prices for staff and pupils in both the primary and the secondary.  Menu items have included a variety of delicious soups, chilli beef nachos with tomato salsa and creamy guacamole as well as homemade beef or spicy chickpea burgers. To accompany the burgers, our young chefs also created a range of toppings including onion rings, garlic aioli, sweet chilli aioli, optional salad garnishes and some very tasty hand-cut chips.  A great favourite has been their delicious chocolate brownie which is a very popular addition to their menu.
