The Award
The Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA) recognises achievement in putting the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) at the heart of a school's planning, policies, practice and ethos. A rights-respecting school not only teaches about children's rights but also models rights and respect in all its relationships: between pupils and adults, between adults and between pupils

Wallace Hall are embarking on this journey together as a 3-18 school and are currently working towards the 'Recognition of Commitment' award. To do this there are several criteria that we have to work towards. One of these is the creation of a Steering Committee to drive the award forward within the school and local community. As such we would be delighted if parents/guardians could be a part of this group. If you would like to be involved please get in touch with the school using the usual phone number or email address and ask to speak to either Mrs Little or Mrs Andrews.
