Diaries of Distinction

To celebrate Maths Week at Wallace Hall (30th September to 6th October) we set our S1 pupils the challenge of keeping a diary detailing all the times that they used Maths during the week. In other words, not just during Maths lessons, but all other lessons as well. We also wanted entries for before school, break, lunchtime and after school. As if that was not enough, they also had a section to fill in for the weekend too!

We were delighted with the response back from our pupils and we had some excellent diaries handed back in to us. Certificates were awarded for those diaries that we judged to be particularly well done in terms of effort, detail and presentation. The prize-winners are pictured here with their certificates and diaries.
