Spooky goings on in WHP

On Friday 1st November the first of our Parent Council events of the year took place in the form of The Annual Family Halloween Disco. All pupils from ELC-P7 and their families were invited to attend and they didn't disappoint accompanied by many of the Primary staff.

This is the most popular event of the year in the Primary and the costumes and pumpkins keep getting better and better. Mr Graham has the difficult task of picking a winner of the fancy dress from each class and the best 3 pumpkins of the night.

The Primary Fundraising Sub Group of the Parent Council run this event and rely on the help of many of our parents. Events like this just couldn't happen without the support of the whole school community, and our parents and senior students from the Academy as always never let us down. Their costumes, hair and make up rivaled the pupils!

Raising £470 we are off to a very good start with fundraising this year.
